Swimathon 2018

On April 28 th , I swam 2.5 k Butterfly as part of a total 5k swim. It was a very tough swim in aid of the Cancer research and Marie Curie charities .Once again this cruel disease has touched my family. The people I know who are fighting this disease ,face pain far beyond

7 mile mark

So , today I reached the 7 miles total. I had a swim at a pool near where I was staying ,in Stafford . I was welcomed by the regular swimmers who happily allowed me to join in their session. I love the fact that Swimming brought 2 strangers into my life  for the hour

Swimathon challenge

As part of the Swimathon this year  ,I have been joined by 4 team mates to help me swim a medley relay with a difference. The plan is to have 5 swimmers who will each swim 50 lengths at Stradbroke pool,in medley relay order. So this means 50 lengths Fly for me .I will post
